There are two tasks per week.  One will be the weekly task where housemates will get rewards if they pass and the other will be broadcast live on Channel 4 and will determine the winning prize and other evil acts.

Week 1 Week 2 Week 3 Week 5 Week 6 Week 7 Week 8

Week 6: 05/07/2004

Task:  For this week's task, housemates will be going back to school.

If housemates successfully complete the task they will receive a privilege pass. This pass will be redeemable against a selection of privileges. If housemates fail the task they will not receive a privilege pass and they will not receive any shopping next week.

SCHOOL RULES:

All housemates are now pupils attending the Big Brother Primary School. Big Brother is your Headmaster.

The following school rules apply during school hours:

* Each morning the Headmaster will sound the school bell to start the school day. Pupils will have 5 minutes from the end of the bell to dress in their full uniform and stand by the benches in the garden. The Headmaster will take the register. Pupils must reply "here" when their name is called.

* Any absentees at registration, not excused with a doctor's note, will count as a fail.

* Pupils will be allowed three fails over the course of the entire weekly task.

* Pupils must wear their full school uniform for registration, or they will incur a fail. The full school uniform will be provided by the Headmaster and comprises of the following items:

Boys

1 x Blazer

1 x School tie

1 x Pair of shorts

1 x Shirt

1 x Boater

1 x Pair of socks

1 x Pair of shoes (provided by pupils)

Girls

1 x Blazer

1 x School tie

1 x Skirt

1 x Blouse

1 x Boater

1 x Pair of socks

1 x Pair of shoes (provided by pupils)

* Once registration has finished and you have been dismissed, pupils may remove their blazers, boater, shoes and socks but must continue to wear the rest of their uniform until the bell is rung to signal the end of the school day. Any pupil found not wearing the minimum school uniform during this time will be punished at the Headmaster's discretion.

* Any pupil wishing to exercise during the school day may request a PE kit from the Headmaster.

* Once the school day has finished pupils may revert back to wearing their own clothes but pupils must remain on their best behaviour outside school hours as they are still representing their school. Pupils displaying inappropriate behaviour may be punished at the Headmaster's discretion.

* All smoking and snogging during school hours must be done behind the bike sheds in the garden. Failure to abide by this rule will result in punishment at the Headmaster's discretion.

Extra Tasks:

Saturday Challenge: 03/07/2004

Task: For tonight's challenge, the housemates will need to have trust in each other.

The challenge will be split in to 2 parts. Part 1 will require one housemate to act as a spokesperson for the group, they will not take part in the actual challenge - but will decide pairings from the remaining members of the group, choosing which will act as 'farmers' and which will take the role as 'cows.'

For the second part of the task, the housemates will dress according to the roles they have been given (farmers and cows) and the farmers will need to direct the cows through a course set up in the garden. The cows will be blindfolded and will be guided round the course using devices which the farmers will operate that give off a small electric shock.

The farmers are not allowed to speak to the cows or give directions in any form of code.

One at a time, Big Brother will instruct the farmers to direct their cow (who must travel on all-four's) and guide them to the cattle pen at the end of the garden, within the course the cows will encounter hazards including manure, rotten vegetables and eggs which they will have to walk through.

For every cow that makes it to the cattle pen, £2,500 will be saved from the current £74,000 prize fund.

The live challenge is no longer broadcast live at 9pm on Saturday, however viewers of E4 can tune in from 4pm to see the live task.
