Week 3: 13/06/2004 Task:
Each of the
housemates must adopt the support of a country's team, and make their
own mascot outfit and patriotic dance - which they will be required to
perform during the Big Brother Euro 2004 opening ceremony on Sunday.
On the Monday, they will be required to perform their mascot victory
dance at different intervals during the day when Big Brother plays a
snippet of commentary from a match that their team is playing in. So for
example, if commentary is played from the Greece vs. Spain game - the
housemate that represents Greece and the housemate that represents Spain
will need to change in to their mascot outfit and perform their dance on
a specially erected 'Football Stadium' stage in the garden.
The housemates must perform their 'victory dance' within a 3-minute
time-limit or they fail!
On Tuesday, the next stage of their task is to learn a football chant
in 3 different languages!
On the Wednesday when the housemates hear the national anthem of their
relative country, they must run to the 'Football Stadium' in the
garden and put on their 'hats' and 'scarves' within a 45 second time
limit and perform the chant in the language of that country.
The housemates will need to decide between themselves, which country
they want to support - they have a choice from: England, France,
Greece, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Sweden, Germany and Holland.
The housemates can only make 3 mistakes (arriving late or performing
incorrectly), then they will risk failing the task.
