Day 16: Ben is the 3rd Evictee

Tonight saw the third eviction of the series, as we said goodbye to another celebrity and it was Ben who was evicted against Jermaine. The pair had faced a shock twist that saw the housemates decide who was evicted. Following model Chloe's eviction on Tuesday, host Emma Willis dropped news of a brand new twist. "This week we are taking the power out of the housemates' hands and giving it to you with the People's Nominations," said Emma. She explained how viewers were able to vote for their favourite housemate for free via the Big Brother app or website, with over 250,000 votes cast before the poll closed tonight. The two housemates with the fewest votes from the public - Ben and Jermaine - then faced eviction and who went was decided live tonight by the rest of the group. One by one, each housemate was called to the Diary Room to cast their vote. Here's who voted to evict who... Dan voted to evict Jermaine. Gabby voted to evict Jermaine. Hardeep voted to evict Ben. Kirstie voted to evict Ben. Nick voted to evict Jermaine. Roxanne voted to evict Jermaine. Ryan voted to evict Ben. Sally voted to evict Ben. As a result, the votes were tied. Big Brother then gathered the group and asked them to come to a majority verdict. Eventually, Hardeep, Sally, Ryan, Kirstie and Nick voted to evict Ben leaving him evicted five votes to three. |
