Scott has been evictedAdd comment Bookmark and Share
Our favourite boy from Macclesfield, Scott Mason has been evicted from the Big Brother House with only three days to go before the final.

A below-the-radar Floater, Scott proved himself to be a very popular housemate and, previous to this week, never found himself up for eviction, routinely scoring too few nominations to face the Borehamwood crowd. It had to happen sooner or later and, after being named in the final round of noms, he ultimately lost out in the public vote tonight.

He may have avoided having his name called during the nominations process, but that's not to say Scott had a quiet time of it over his 67 day stint. A self-professed loner who 'can't bear' to get involved with gangs, Scott skilfully avoided the divide that split the House for the bulk of the time, preferring to keep his friends close and avoid any real tittle-tattle. This aloof approach occasionally inspired accusations of duplicity, but Scott rode the waves of any troubled waters like a distinguished naval commander, only sinking at the final strait.

Scott first made an impression when he declared his admiration for housemate Arron, making it abundantly clear that he'd taken rather a fancy to the Manchester lad. They struck up an unlikely friendship, but this alliance was ultimately doomed and the two eventually fell out with a blazing row. It was an argument that rocked the House and gave us all plenty to chuckle about, with Scott labelling Arron 'a disgusting rapscallion' in a sleight that will go down in the BB history books.
Scott also had a hot-cold relationship with Luke S. The two ostensibly got on, but behind the scenes Scott was always happy to poke fun at the boy from Stoke. This was no more evident that when housemates gathered to watch scenes from The White Room, with Scott regularly delighting in taking the mickey from the comfort of the sofa.

But Scott made more friends than enemies during his time in the House and his first companion in the early days was Caroline. The well-spoken duo had fun playing Let's Pretend and enjoying the most upper class work-outs the House has ever seen, but their friendship began to fall apart as Caroline's cattiness reached fever pitch. By the time she sabotaged the shopping list with all that chocolate, their friendship was all but over.

Becky stepped into the breach before that, and with the Blackburn girl he really found a kindred spirit. The two lapsed into role-playing games seamlessly, usually packed with double entendres and sounding like a fully-formed Carry On script, often augmented by face-painting and dance.

Scott's enjoyed a range of hairstyles since moving into the bungalow. He began his time with a spiky blonde effort, which soon morphed under Conor's direction into a red wiggy affair. Soon this near-disaster was replaced with a dyed blonde crop, a hairstyle he keeps to this day.

Despite being a keen team player, Scott was never the housemate who applied himself most to tasks, but he did come good for his recent secret mission, The Final Act. Compelled to pretend that he'd been on a mole-like secret mission since Launch Night, he impressed even himself with his acting skills, causing Deana to grill him like a top detective and getting himself into all kinds of bother.

We'll miss so many aspects of Scott's character it's difficult to count them without running out of fingers. From his extensive vocabulary to his devotion to living an upper crust lifestyle, this impressive young man is an absolute individual. His stay hasn't just been adequate. It's been more than adequate. Tally ho Scott - what an enchanting housemate, we'll be bound.
