Shievonne's departure marks the sixth eviction of this series. While the ambient noise of the Big Brother fans could be heard in the House, the housemates grouped together to come to terms with their beloved Mama Shiv's eviction.

Partner-in-crime Ashleigh announced her unshakeable faith in Shievonne who will "rock it" once she has caught her breath. "She forgot her f**king lipstick" Luke S said, jogging towards the famous stairs. The remaining housemates vowed to keep the "Shievonne legacy" alive. While Adam admitted he was full of anger and pain at Shievonne's departure, "That's too hard for the yard".

Their attention shifted in record time from Shievonne to Conor. The compliments started flooding in for the Derry man as fellow housemates commended his character and honesty. After Conor passionately reassured HMs that he's a changed man, he pleaded with them that they tell him outright if he ticks them off. Will they, won't they?

Conor quickly changed from his glad rags to the comfort of his beloved sleeveless hoody - it has aerodynamic qualities, like. No doubt he feels a renewed sense of optimism after being narrowly saved by you, the voting public for a third time - half way into the series. "We'll get a good task on Tuesday and we'll fly it!" Conor said enthused. He comforted Ashleigh telling her that Shievonne will enjoy all the luxuries of the real world like tea and jerk chicken.

To soften the blow, Luke S offered to make some chicken sandwiches. That's generous of him; and it's probably safe to assume that the housemates view niceness with suspicion now. Conor is attempting to boost the remaining contestants team spirit, but you all know it's a farce – underneath the calm and collected veneer is a cunning game-playing collective. Right now they're munching away at sandwiches together - aw, bless.

Of course you can't beat a good old eviction to make housemates nervous:"Going through them doors is kind of like a social death" Luke A mused, followed by a nervous laugh - okay mate, keep it light! The fact is all housemates have shown this light heartedness - kind of like a defence mechanism. God forbid that they show their more human side, while they're inside the House playing against each other for the sought-after £100,000 jackpot and title.

So there you have it. Conor has been saved, while Shievonne is facing the eviction post-mortem.

Goodbye and good luck, Shievonne.
