This afternoon's task was called Breathalyser - and it caused something of a stink. That's because the entire mission revolved around stench – specifically the smelly breath produced when housemates eat pungent foodstuffs. Breathalyser involved the teams going into the Task Room, one after the other, to play a very special, very aromatic game of Chinese Whispers. Instead of linguistics, teams passed on the odour from whatever food they'd just eaten, their stinky breath passing down a tube and right into the face of a fellow housemate. It was an incredibly pleasant way for them to pass an overcast afternoon. Within each team, three Housemates played six rounds each. Sitting in a row of cubicles behind ten plates of various foods, the first player opened an envelope to reveal what food they had to eat first. After munching away, they then breathed down their mask along a tube to the second player who inhaled their exhalation and attempted to guess what they'd eaten. They then had to eat the food they thought had just been eaten, repeating the process, breathing their breath down the tube to the third player. As yet, housemates don't know exactly which particular turf they were playing for. |
