The morning after an eviction is always a strange one.

Housemates have usually just been fed some 'priceless information', with the general public giving them a clue as to who they support in the House and who they've had quite enough of. With four housemates in the frame yesterday and with Conor and Arron left in danger after an Outsider (Deana) and a Floater (Becky) were saved, the dynamic couldn't have changed more dramatically in such a short space of time. The mood after a booming alarm call was bound to be a bit peculiar.

The blues woke up in a sombre mood, with a handful of 'happy birthdays' thrown Shievonne's way, and Sara was first to rise. She immediately joined Luke A out in the smoking area, where the two bonded with their first post-Arron conversation. She told the chef that she's finally twigged who she can trust, telling Luke A she was 'so happy' when she heard that Deana and Becky were safe, stopping short of revealing she'd nominated Conor and Arron the preceding Monday.

Sara rejoined Blue team-mates Caroline and Ashleigh in the living area for a breakfast apple, but she stared straight as Caroline began to criticise Adam. Ashleigh barely responded either, and it looks to our eyes like nobody's sure what to think. Elsewhere, Shievonne applied makeup, ready for her big day.

Over on the Green team, Becky, Scott, Deana and Luke S were in a more playful mood. Becky kept everyone entertained with windy-pops and an embarrassing slip of her bed-sheets, while Scott lamented his headache but joined in with impersonations, offering his mimicry of Winston Churchill to the mix.

A strange atmosphere in the aftermath of a highly charged evening. The public sent a message to housemates last night. Though it was apparently loud and clear, the dust's only just beginning to settle in the divided House. With more Turf Wars scheduled for the coming few days, things are really starting to get interesting.
