Big Brother tonight sprung a surprise on the new bunch of housemates, just hours after they entered the house. Having spent an hour so getting to know one another - and their special guest Pamela Anderson - Big Brother called the group to the sofas to explain this weekend's special task.

Brian teased previously that the housemates would need to become Pamela's best friends, saying: "Being best friends brings big rewards"

Revealing all, Big Brother asked Pamela to split the house into two. She selected a group of "VIP" housemates who were invited to a beach party with her, while the remainder of the group were stuck inside.

Pamela selected Heaven, Louise, Tom, Tashie, and Faye Palmer to join her at the VIP party, which saw a bouncer to enter the house.

During the private bash, the group shared stories and showed off a few dance moves as Big Brother played music into the house.
